I'd love to see something in an unique format like journal entries, poems interspersed in the text, letters (I would really like to see a long-distance romance told through correspondence), or something with art or graphics.

I am looking for writers with a unique voice and an unforgettable story.

In TEEN/YA I look for manuscripts that are written with an unforgettable voice – this can be light and funny; deep, dark and gritty or literary, lyrical and emotional.  I am drawn to YA  with a bone-deep sense of danger that haunts me from page 1 and doesn’t let go of me for days. And manuscripts where the smallest of choices have the greatest of consequences.

MIDDLE GRADE fiction with a literary feel-- it must be realistic and thought provoking and the characters must be authentic and original.

In NONFICTION: humor and pop culture manuscripts. I also LOVE cooking and craft books.

Adult romances with creative plots, sexy liaisons and unique characters that sweep me up in their love story and leave me smiling and sighing and longing for the romance to last forever.

And I like to cry. Or laugh. I want to feel something unforgettable when I read your pages. I want manuscripts that I can’t stop thinking about.

I only work with people who are pleasant online, on the telephone and in person. I want to work with authors who know that this is a business and is a professional, who understands the value of an agent in all mediums of publishing.
